Hello, the City of Albany is looking for feedback regarding municipalities that provide business grants. The questions are below, and we would appreciate if you could respond if your community coordinates such a program. Also, if you have brochures, applications, or other materials relevant to your grant program, please send a link or the documents to jennifer.wehr@albanyoregon.gov. Questions:
1. How did you determine focus/purpose of grant?
2. How do you measure the recipient’s return on investment (ROI?)
3. How are awards made (i.e. review process is it by committee, staff, or other?)
4. How are grants funded in the budget (Gen Fund, TLT, Urban Renewal, other?)
5. What are the terms of your program (just one cycle? Annual? Into perpetuity?)
6. How much are individual awards and how much is the total amount available?
7. How much staff time did it take to stand up your program? How much staff time to maintain?
8. Tell us, is there anything else we should know?
