The Fiscal and Budget Services Section within Business Oregon is currently hiring a Permanent, Accounting Manager (Accounting Manager 2). The section provides financial and budgetary services for the department.
As an Accounting Manager at Business Oregon, you will direct and manage the accounting staff of the section. Our Accounting Manager applies advanced accounting theory, accounting, and management skills to develop and implement agency or statewide accounting policies, procedures, and systems; ensure integrity, accuracy, and control of data; and control the expenditure of funds. Designs complex accounting systems, develops and revises agency policies and procedures, regularly acts as the primary representative of the department externally. Reviews and approves biennial agency accounting structure as well as the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR), note disclosures and Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (SEFA) reports submitted for inclusion in the State of Oregon ACFR and Statewide Single Audit. Monitors cash flow needs of the Agency’s nearly $2 billion biannual budget.
Note: This position may report to the Salem Business Oregon office or have the option to work remote part of the time upon manager approval.
