TEAM Oregon

TEAM Oregon is a coalition of Business Oregon and local/regional economic development organizations in the state supported by OEDA. The TEAM model is an effective way for organizations large and small, rural and urban – to leveraged focused resources to create more proactive and strategic retention, expansion and recruitment efforts. Strategically positioned to support the industry in our local communities, together, we send a strong message to out-of-state companies that Oregon is open for business and offers many competitive advantages to support their success. The TEAM leverage resources and investments to deliver a solid program of activities from July – June each year.

Targeted Recruitment & Tradeshows

TEAM Oregon markets the Oregon Business Advantage to advanced manufacturing, technology, aerospace, food processing and other key industries. The Team identifies growing and expanding manufacturers, develops relationships and generates business recruitment leads. At the same time, we support our existing traded sector companies by connecting them to opportunities, developing resources, and addressing industry challenges. The Team recruits companies to fill strategic missing niches in the supply chain and attract buyers and suppliers to support Oregon companies. Through its multi-pronged efforts, we collect industry data and valuable resources to recruit, retain and expand key sectors in Oregon. This year’s 2019-2020 program will focus on qualified lead generation, site selector meetings, tradeshow participation and training, professional development, resource mining, and many other activities.

Food Processing

TEAM Oregon aggressively promotes retention, expansion and recruitment of food processing and related traded sector companies in Oregon with targeted show opportunities and strategic industry data access. Oregon is the nation’s premiere environment where food processors and their supply chain can thrive. TEAM Oregon operates a legacy booth share at the Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, CA, which includes six export-ready Oregon food companies each year. This opportunity to meet with buyers and distributors, test products and assess product markets is a profound catalyst for Oregon food companies. At this show, TEAM Oregon also runs an industry connection event, the premier Oregon Reception, which features private business sponsorship opportunities and exclusive offer for Oregon companies to showcase product.
