Robert M. Ady Professional Development Scholarship Program
The Site Selectors Guild recognizes that some economic organizations have limited resources and are not otherwise able to enjoy all of the educational benefits and networking opportunities that attendance at a Guild Annual Conference can provide. Thus, beginning this year the Guild will offer Robert M. Ady Professional Development Scholarships to five deserving economic developers at qualified economic development organizations to defray the registration cost associated with attending a Guild Annual Conference. Each Ady Scholarship recipient will receive a complimentary conference registration, currently valued at $2,000.
Selection Criteria
Every year the Ady Scholarship Review Committee will select five recipients whom they believe are most likely to leverage the opportunity to attend a Guild Conference. They will seek candidates who are eager to learn and plan to apply the skills and knowledge gained to benefit their careers, their organizations and their communities. New economic development professionals and/or employees of newly formed economic development organizations are encouraged to apply. If you are aware of a deserving person or organization please encourage them to apply.
