The OEDA Annual Conference is the premier event for Oregon’s economic development community. Each year, we gather for three days of insightful sessions, unparalleled networking, and a celebration of excellence in economic development. This conference brings together public and private-sector leaders, business professionals, and community advocates to share knowledge, discuss challenges, and collaborate on innovative solutions that drive economic growth and resiliency throughout the state.
This year’s Annual Conference is centered around the theme “Where Industry Takes Root”, is set against the beautiful backdrop of the central Willamette Valley in Salem, OR at the Salem Convention Center. Through powerful sessions, real-world case studies, and dynamic experiences, this conference will showcase how Oregon communities are cultivating the conditions for industry to grow, businesses to thrive, and long-term economic prosperity to take root across every region of the state.

The 2026 OEDA Annual Conference will be held at the Salem Convention Center in the heart of downtown Salem. The venue provides convenient access to conference sessions, networking activities, dining, lodging, and downtown amenities.

Arriving early? Join us for Economic Development 101
OCED Training #1: Economic Development 101 will be held at the Salem Convention Center on Sunday, October 25 from 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., immediately before the 2026 Annual Conference Welcome Reception begins at 5:00 p.m.

This foundational course introduces the core principles, tools, partnerships, and strategies used in economic development and is part of OEDA’s eight-course Oregon Certified Economic Developer (OCED) Training Program. You do not need to be enrolled in the certification program to attend—individual OCED courses are open to anyone interested in expanding their economic development knowledge and skills.
NOTE: OCED Training is a separate event and is not included with Annual Conference registration. Separate registration is required.

Adventure Day Transportation
Complimentary shuttle transportation will be available for Tuesday’s Adventure Day tours.
Seating is limited to 110 riders and available first-come, first-served.
Attendees may also provide their own transportation.
SHUTTLE RESERVATION REQUIRED:
Registered attendees who plan to use the shuttle must reserve a seat separately. Reservation information will be provided following conference registration.
