The Northwest Community Development Institute has been hailed as one of the most educational and inspiring training sessions in the country. This training is provided by the Idaho Department of Commerce, in partnership with Business Oregon.

Professional Community & Economic Development Certification
(PCED)
After completing three years, you can receive a Professional Community and Economic Development (PCED) Certification. Why is a professional certification important? It provides a marketable professional credential when competing for positions in the community and economic development field. Endorsed by the Community Development Council Board of Trustees, it means you have achieved a nationally recognized standard of excellence in the profession through formal education
and practical application.
