Grant Opens on February 20th: Mark Your Calendars!
Dear Community Champions,
You are receiving this email because we are continually grateful for your leadership and contributions to our community. Your organization has made a positive impact, and we are eager to learn more about your work through an exciting opportunity – the next grant cycle round for the Reimagine Oregon Economic Opportunity Investment Fund.
Please mark your calendars! The Reimagine Oregon Economic Opportunity Investment Fund will open its second grant cycle on Thursday, February 20th — and will continue its focus on economic and business development for those disproportionately affected by cannabis prohibition. This Fund is designed to support neighborhood small businesses, especially women-owned and minority-owned businesses, through funding for business incubator programs, management training, and job training opportunities in compliance with City Code (Portland City Code 06.07.145).
This year, the fund will award grants ranging from $5,000 to $300,000, with anchor projects ranging from $50,000 to $700,000 to small business and non-profit entities, as well as non-profit organizations with a 501(c)3 fiscal sponsor operating within the City of Portland.

The Reimagine Oregon Team at Prosper Portland will soon send out additional details regarding the application process, so please keep an eye on your inbox! And please share this opportunity within your network of entities you believe may closely align with the focus of the fund.
It’s important to note that due to the competitive nature of this grant program and the limited funding available, not all proposals will be funded. We anticipate receiving a high volume of applications, and our evaluation team will carefully evaluate each proposal based on the program’s criteria, meaning that some worthy projects may not receive funding in this cycle.
For any questions, please email reimagineoregon@prosperportland.us. We hope to see your application! Feel free to share this opportunity with other businesses or organizations that may benefit from this grant.
Best,
The Reimagine Oregon Team at Prosper Portland
