Prosper Portland seeks an experienced construction project manager who will bring their knowledge and skill in architecture, engineering, and/or construction to the agency. This position will consult on and lead construction projects for the city’s urban and economic development agency. Your expertise and thought partnership will help us realize critical real estate projects in our city, such as the Nick Fish project on NE Halsey or our Shops at 10Y project downtown. You will collaborate with business owners, Prosper Portland project managers, architects, developers, and other city bureaus to bring these visions to life. Your work will have a direct impact in advancing the agency’s commitment to equitable prosperity for all Portlanders by supporting business development, wealth creation, and fostering healthy and resilient neighborhoods.
An ideal candidate will have a breadth of experience managing and supporting commercial and mixed-use building design and construction. This person must be able to work inclusively and collaboratively with others, communicate effectively, and have a passion for racial and social equity. Experience working with tenants on leased projects and managing consultant and construction contracts will serve this person well.
Monthly Salary Range: $7,251 – $9,548

Work is currently fully remote due to the COVID-19 pandemic, though Prosper Portland’s offices are available on a voluntary basis. It is anticipated that when public health authorities deem it safe to do so, work would be conducted on a part-time in-person, part-time remote basis, the details of which remain to be determined.
