In-person OCED Courses are held approximately twice per year. These are 1-day training events, typically convened in a central location for ease of travel for students and trainers. In-person courses offer valuable opportunities to connect, build networks and partnerships, and directly engage with leaders in the field. You won’t want to miss this unique learning experience!

The OCED “Marketing & Branding for Economic Development” Course will be held the day before the OEDA Higher Education & Economic Development Collaboration Summit at the Courtyard Corvallis (7/30)! CLICK HERE to learn more!

OCED Students attending the Marketing & Branding course are welcome to attend the Collaboration Summit’s Networking Happy Hour Event at Common Fields Food Truck Pod & Taproom! This is the kick-off event for the Summit, held immediately following the OCED Training on Monday, July 29th at 5:00 pm.

The OCED: Marketing & Branding for Economic Development course will be held at the brand-new Holmes & Shipley Room in Benton County’s Kalapuya Building located at 4500 SW Research Way, Corvallis, OR 97333.

Meals:

Students will enjoy a complimentary breakfast and lunch, plus two breaks between classes with refreshments!

Breakfast served at 7:30 am | Lunch served at 11:30 am

Meals are ordered in advance, so please notify us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions which require specialty dining accommodations at info@oeda.biz after registering. Food allergen requests must be made no later than 6:00 pm Friday, July 19th to properly accommodate.

OCED Students staying for the Collaboration Summit must contact the Courtyard Mariott staff to secure reservations within the guest block window of July 28th – July 29th. Enrollees in this OCED Training will receive group-rate pricing for hotel accommodations and discounted on-site hotel parking ($10/day).

OCED Graduates:

If the “Marketing & Branding for Economic Development” course fulfills the final requirement for your OCED Certification, upon completion you are eligible to be honored at the GRADUATION CEREMONY during the 2024 Annual Conference this October 6-8! Cancellations:

Refunds for in-person events are offered up to one week before the event date (July 15, 2024). Students may also request an account credit for use toward future events or trainings.
