Join us in person on October 8th, 2023, to learn the fundamentals of retaining and expanding Oregon’s business community from a robust team of consultants, economic development professionals, and successful industry practitioners in our OCED Course, “Business Retention & Expansion”.

In-person OCED Courses are held approximately twice per year. These are 1-day training events, typically convened in a central location for ease of travel for students and trainers. In-person courses offer valuable opportunities to connect, build networks and partnerships, and directly engage with leaders in the field. You won’t want to miss this unique learning experience!

The “Business Retention & Expansion” course will be held in conjunction with the OEDA Annual Oregon Economic Development Conference at the Graduate Eugene! Enrollees in this OCED Training will receive group-rate pricing for hotel accommodations and discounted on-site parking ($15/day).

OCED Students attending the Business Retention & Expansion course who are ALSO attending the Annual Conference will receive TWO FREE Drink Tickets to the Welcome Reception and a 10% discount on Conference Registration Fees! (Conference Welcome Reception is hosted in the Graduate Lounge from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm Sunday, October 8th, following the OCED Training Course.)

OEDA MEMBER PRICE: $200

Non-member Price: $250

Accommodations:

Students will enjoy a complimentary breakfast and lunch, plus two breaks between classes with refreshments!

Meals are ordered in advance, so please notify us of any dietary restrictions at info@oeda.biz after registering. Students must be registered no later than 6:00 pm Friday, September 22nd.

OCED Graduates:

If the “Business Retention & Expansion” course fulfills the final requirement for your OCED Certification, upon completion you are eligible to be honored at the GRADUATION CEREMONY during the Annual Conference! Please email us at info@oeda.biz to learn more about OCED Graduation.

Cancellations:

Refunds for in-person events are offered up to one week before the event date (September 29, 2023). Students may also request an account credit for use toward future events or trainings.
