Government Affairs Committee

The Government Affairs Committee advocates for public policy that supports effective economic development strategies, programs and resources.

One important part of OEDA’s work in this area is advocacy for the urban renewal tool, which OEDA assumed representation of following its merger in 2017 with the Association of Oregon Redevelopment Agencies (AORA).

As a member of the government affairs committee, you’ll be able to stay abreast of the key policy issues affecting economic development in Oregon.  You’ll also work with your peers to advocate for the tools and priorities of economic development in the state.

Get connected through participation on the Government Affairs Committee! Members can participate from anywhere in the state.
