Troy Johnson is CEO of Hazelnut Growers of Oregon, bringing more than three decades of experience in the food and beverage industry and deep expertise in the tree nut sector. His career spans sales, marketing, business strategy, product development, and industry leadership, including prior executive roles with HGO and extensive advisory work through his own consulting businesses.

Since returning to lead HGO in 2024, Troy has focused on innovation, market development, and expanding opportunities for Oregon hazelnuts through new products, partnerships, and global market engagement. He holds an MBA from Portland State University and has also taught business strategy at the university level.
