Chris Jagger is a farmer, entrepreneur, and regional food systems advocate based in southern Oregon. Since 2004, he and his wife, Melanie Kuegler, have operated Blue Fox Farm in the Applegate Valley, growing certified organic vegetables while continually adapting the farm’s scale and business model to meet changing market conditions.

Beyond farming, Chris has worked as an agricultural consultant, operated an ag supply business, launched a soil-focused agriculture conference, and explored new approaches to strengthening regional food supply chains across the Pacific Northwest. His work is grounded in a practical understanding of farm business operations and a broader commitment to building community, supporting small farms, and feeding people.
