Alex Albertine is the Programs and Incentives Manager at Business Oregon and an economist with two decades of experience helping governments, businesses, and communities advance economic development. In his current role, he leads a team implementing state programs that use tax credits, tax abatements, forgivable loans, and grant funding to support investment, job creation, and economic growth.

Before joining Business Oregon, Alex served as a U.S. Foreign Service Officer with USAID, leading economic growth programs focused on investment, energy, infrastructure and workforce development. He brings both international and Oregon experience, connecting economic development concepts with practical tools for strengthening local economies.
