Project Coordinator I – Entrepreneurship and Community Economic Development (Two Positions – Limited Term)

Prosper Portland seeks two Project Coordinators who will use their knowledge and skills in database systems, project organization, and contract management to assist the Entrepreneurship and Community Economic Development Team in its efforts to provide services and support to entrepreneurs of color and underserved businesses as they recover from the pandemic and thrive.
The first position will focus on the on-going support of Outcome Tracker used for data and reporting for the Inclusive Business Resource Network that connects businesses to a network of culturally and geographically specific technical resources. The second position will focus on contract and federal fund monitoring and compliance that support initiatives for small businesses impacted by the pandemic. Both positions will also work with the department on various initiatives that support inclusive community economic development.
The ideal candidates will possess strong collaboration skills, a great eye for detail, a dedicated cultural curiosity with the ability to understand and work with people across identities, and a passion for advancing racial equity and social justice.
These are limited term positions expiring two years from hire date.
