Economic Development Specialist

The Economic Development Specialist provides responsible, professional, confidential and technical support to the Economic Development Director in economic development research, concept, implementation and monitoring of projects or programs designed to promote economic growth and revitalization. Associate’s degree in business, marketing,  management, urban studies, and related fields, and 2 years of responsible professional experience, in public economic development planning, business administration, or business management, involving public contact in person and providing technical and professional support and social media management in public relations/marketing, or a related field.  Applicants must have a valid Oregon Class C driver’s license and the ability to meet the City of Woodburn’s driving standards and must pass the pre-employment background check. Bilingual in English/Spanish, and Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, management, urban studies, and related fields preferred.
