🌟 About the Role:

Dive into the heart of Oregon’s South Coast economic development! As the Executive Director of the South Coast Development Council (SCDC), you’ll be the driving force behind our mission. From expanding businesses to fostering new startups, you’ll be at the helm of our region’s growth.

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

– Spearhead the SCDC strategic plan.

– Collaborate with diverse community partners, from city officials to the public.

– Champion business growth, both for existing ventures and budding entrepreneurs.

– Navigate the financial landscape, from budgeting to grant acquisition.

– Stay updated and engaged with economic development trends and conferences.

🎓 What We’re Looking For:

– A degree in Business, Economics, Public Administration, or Political Science (or equivalent experience).

– A dynamic individual ready to immerse in our local economy.

– Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

– Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet research, and accounting software.
