Government Affairs Committee

The Government Affairs Policy Committee develops OEDA’s legislative priorities and action plan, advocating for public policy that supports effective economic development strategies, programs, and resources.

One important part of OEDA’s work in this area is advocacy for the urban renewal tool, which OEDA assumed representation of following its merger in 2017 with the Association of Oregon Redevelopment Agencies (AORA).

As a member of the Government Affairs Call (GAC), you’ll be able to stay abreast of the key policy issues affecting economic development in Oregon through our monthly conference briefing, led by our lobbyist partners at Tonkon Torp, LLP.  Join our GAC for the opportunity to work with your peers to advocate for the tools and priorities of economic development in the state.

Get connected through participation in the GAC! Members can participate in this call from anywhere in the state.

Reach out by email to the committee leadership listed below or to info@oeda.biz to learn more about joining OEDA’s Government Affairs Call.
